Know what you are bidding on
Every lot carries a condition grade, and the photos always show the actual item. Here is exactly what each grade means.
New
The item is brand new, though it may have been opened for inspection or testing. You might notice light dust or minor marks from handling. The box may be damaged or replaced with a different one.
Gently used
Used a few times and may show slight cosmetic wear such as small scuffs or marks, but it works perfectly. The packaging may be damaged or not original.
Used, good condition
Works well and has been previously used. It may show visible signs of wear such as scratches or small cosmetic flaws. Packaging may be damaged or replaced.
Used
Regular use and noticeable signs of wear: scratches, dents, stains or chipped corners. It still functions properly but may be missing minor parts such as screws or bolts. The packaging may be damaged or not original.
A few things worth knowing
Packaging. Boxes are often damaged, replaced or missing. We grade the item, not the box.
Missing parts. When something obvious is missing it is written in the lot description. Minor hardware such as screws or bolts may be absent on used items.
Testing. Electronics are powered on and checked before listing. Anything that failed the check is described as such or pulled from the sale.
Sold as is. A bid is a commitment to buy. Read the description, look at the photos, and ask before the clock runs out if anything is unclear.
